Port Coquitlam 117 crimes per 1,000 population

Coquitlam 84.5 crimes per 1000 population

It is evident that the Detachment is having difficulties coping with the
demands for pelicing service. Asa result, Inspector Young has requested
4 additional men, 2 men for crime prevention, youth work and neighbourhood
‘watch, etc., and 2 men to try and reduce the case load. I recommend we
add two men to the detachment.
