We the undersigned residents of Langan Ave. and
Susrounding area request that Langan Avee be closed
te vehicle traffic at the intersection of Langan and
Broadway »

Cur reason for this closure is that Langan ave which
is a residential street populated by families with young
children is being used as a commercial route by vehidles
servicing the industrial area along Broadway. Attempts
have been made by the undersigned to have the violators
charged under the city by~laws. but this has been very
ineffective. In any event the number of vebicles invol~
ved, prohibits solving the problem by means of policing
and scattered fines,

We the undersigned feel that the only solution is to
close Langan Ave. to all vehiéle traffic thereby forcing
commercial vehicles to use the designated truck routes
which are close by.

We wish to be advised when this matter will be discus~

sed at council and we will have our spokesman Mr, Re L.
Sutter or his appointee in attendance,
