That Council approve’ the following improvements to the Coast Meridian/Prairie intersection: a. that the signal timing be adjusted for the Coast Meridian/Prairie traffic signal to provide for a five second intergreen clearance interval for both phases; that the R.C.M.P. be requested to continue to do periodic checks for speeding and other violations near the intersection; that a centre median be constructed on Prairie east of Coast Meridian, in order to restrict left turn movements from eastbound traffic to the driveway of the new shopping centre at the northeast corner of the intersection; d. that other improvements recommended by Hamilton Associates be considered at the time that Coast Meridian Road is reconstructed, Same Petes ee ane Sb Et oe scm ts ae, tee tee That Council approve the expenditure of $1,500.00 for the construction of these improvements from the funds deposited by Harvest Developments Ltd., the Developer of the Meridian Village Shopping Centre, That Council approve the allocation of $4,000.00 from the 1990 Public Works Capital Fund towards this work, Pat poten gh a gee cies Carried.
