A demand notice mailed under section 374 of the Act sfter the coming into force of this regulation shall contain the following statement containing a percentage calculated under section 2 of this regulation: “Last year without provincial government revenue sharing your general municipal taxes would have increas ed by per cent to provide similar levels of service." : The percentage referred to in Section 1 of this regulction is obta by dividing the sun.of the basic grant and unconditional grant to the municipality under the Revenue Sharing Act for the appropriate year by the general municipal tex levy for that year. The 1979 general municipal tax levy and the 1979 unconditional and basic grant under the Revenue Sharing Act should be utilized in the calculation of the required percantage. When the caiculation has been completed we would appreciate being advised of the figure that will appear on the tax demand notice.
