HUEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling a portion of Imperial Avenue shown dedicated on Plan 2294, District Lot 466, Group One, New Westminster District in the City of Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia; “ AND WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section ‘2 of this By-law has agreed to convey the said land té the city in exchange for ‘the lands comprising the portion of Imperial Avenue to be cancelled; AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 255 of the Revised ’ Statutes of British Columbia, 1960, provides that the Council may by By-law dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may be . : . necessary for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening, re~locating or diverting the highway; - NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City ‘of Port Coquitlam, in, open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: 4 + . oa he , _ The Corporation “oF ‘the City of Port Coquitla 2m is hereby authorized to convey to the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this By-law, ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises which may be more particularly described as follows: All that portion of Imperial Avenue in Digerict Lot 466, Group One, New Westminster, District shown dedicated on registered plan . a . 2294, included within the green outline ona by-law plan sworn hy Walter E.
