We wish to advise that the following resolution was adopted
by the Castlegar City Council on March 8, 1977:

"That we, the Castlegar City Council, request the Minister of
Municipa? Affairs to conduct a critical analysis of the role
of Regional Districts in the Province of British Columbia."

For your information, we are enclosing a copy of our letter
sent to the Minister of Municipal Affairs, and would, at this
time, request your endorsation of same. Your concurrence
with our position on this matter may be supported by addressing
a letter to the Minister.
