A By~law to authorize the expenditure of monies in the Tax Sale MAR 7 1977

Lands Reserve Fund.
WHEREAS there is an unappropriated balance of $377,557.35 as at

February 24th, 1977 in the Tax Sale Lands Reserve Fund consisting of monies
received from the sale of tax sale properties including interest earned
thereon and set aside in accordance with the provisions of Section 304 of
the "Municipal Act", which amount has been calculated as follows:
Balance in Reserve Fund at February 24th, 1976 $377,557.35
Add: Additions to fund including interest $158,525.61
earnings for 1976 and for the current
year to date
Balance in reserve fund at March 4th, 1977 $536,082.96
AND WHEREAS no sinking funds have been or were required to be
established;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to expend from the amount so
set aside the sum of Two Hundred eighty~two thousand three hundred twenty
Dollars and forty-eight Cents (282,320.48) for purchase of real property;

AND WHEREAS the approval of the Minister of Municival Affairs has

been obtained;

NO_THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City

of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. The sum of Two hundred eighty~two thousand three hundred twenty
Dollars and forty-eight Cents ($282,320.48) is hereby appropriated from the
Tax Sale Lands Reserve Fund for the following purchases of real property:
(a) Lot 48, Block 9, District Lot 464, Group 1, Plan 17882,
New Westminster District, having the civic address of
2190 Prairie Avenue $ 44,291.70
(b) Lot 6, Block "oO", District Lot 289, Group 1, Plan

2140, New Westminster District, having the civic
address of 2274 Wilson Avenue $ 36,946.11

(c) Lot 1, Block 14 oftthe Southwest Quarter of Section
7, Township 40, Plan 2797, New Westminster District,
having the civic address of 3898 Ulster Street $ 6,475.39

(d) All that portion of Parcel "C" (M55821E) of Lot 9,
District Let 380, Group 1, Plan 1106 lying east of
the Coquitlam River, New Westminster District $ 48,347.25

(e) Lot "A", Block 5, RBistrict Lot 464, Group 1, Plan
5943 except part shewn on Highway Plan 10030, New
Westminster District $ 88,426.80

Lots 7, 8 and 9, Block 24, District Lot 289, Group
1, Plan 2080, New Westminster District, having the
civis address of 2291 Pitt River Road $ 54,693.67

That portion of property shown dedicated on registered
plan 50782, New Westminster District $__ 3,339.56
