November 18th, 1974 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hal3., 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C. on November 18th, 1974, at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer V.C. Borch, P. Eng., Fire Chief Wingrove, Works & Utilities Superintendent G. Ulmer, Recreation Director Janna Taylor, City Planner Lanson Lee, and Mrs. B.M. Aalten. Prior to commencement of the meeting, His Worship the Mayor extended congratulations to Aldermen Ranger, Thompson, and Traboulay, the incumbent candidates who were elected at the November 16th, 1974 Municipal Election to serve as Aldermen for the City of Port Coquitlam for a further two- yeir term. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Minutes ~ Nov.4/74 Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That the minutes of the November 4th, 1974 meeting of this Council be taken as read and adopted. Carried. CORRESPONDENCE & REPORTS FOR INFORMATION: From the Fire Chief, being the October, 1974 report of the Fire Oct/74 Repor Tire Dept. Department. The report was received for information. Alderman Traboulay inquired as to the charge for inhalator service, and the Fire Chief advised that persons are charged a fee of $5.00 only if they are transported. From the Senior Building Inspector, being the October, 1974 report Oct/74 Repor Bldg. permits of building permits issued. The report was received for information. issued From the British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, October 28th, 1974, being the Setober, 1974 service report of the pound operation. The report was received for information. REPORTS: From the Public Works Committee, November 7th, 1974, reporting for P/Wks.Comm. Fall Clean- information that the total cost of the 1974 Fall Clean-up program was up report $3,394.98 as compared with $3,339.32 in 1972. and $5,590.12 in 1973.
