MOTOR VEHICLE ACT VIOLATIONS - 201 CRIMINAL CODE (Traffic) 31 PARKING VIOLATIONS 14 (Radar 74) SENT I ae nti Sse ates era re OnE anarenidn FPapL ene pace GENERAL COMMENTS OR LOCAL CRIMINAL AND DRUG ACTIVITIES During the month of May, 1974, a total of twenty-two persons were charged with offences under the Narcotic Control and Food & Drugs Acts. No large quantities of drugs were involved. Intelligence received towards the end of May indicates that Heroin at the present time is not readily available in either the Coquitlam or Port Coquitlam area. Persons using Heroin are therefore required te frequent other areas to obtain this drug. It is doubtful if this situation will remain this way for any length of time. The only major crime during the month of May was a robbery with violence which occurred in the Coquitlam area on the 30 MAY. The victim, a young male delivering Chinese food, was rohbed of the monies he was carrying on his person. An adult male is presently before the Courts for this offence.
