For the ‘‘B’’ event it was the Columbia Auto House team of Heather Goheen, Agnes Walker and Rob Niesner defeating Lots O’ Cones by 235 pins in their three-game final. Scottie’s Strikers grabbed third, with Quadra Travel of Rupert fourth. ‘Chevron took the ‘C”’ event; the team of Bruce Robinson, Victor Robin- son and Gil Chevrefils downed Prince Rupert’s We Three by 101 pins in the final. Ray’s Camper Repairs placed third and Bernie’s Crew of Kitimat fourth. In the “‘D”’ event final, it was the Family Feud team of Colum O’Donnel, Deedee O’Donnel and Bonnie Brink scoring a 30-pin victory over Missfits. Team and _ individual awards were split into two sections, with honors go- Sharples back to Winterhawks _ An abundance of defencemen and lack of ice time has resulted in Detroit Red Wings shipping Terrace rear guard Jeff Sharples back to Portland Winterhawks of the Western Major Junior Hockey League. The N.H.L. team made the move early last week so that Sharples can get regular ice duty. with Portland, Sharples had dressed for only four of the Wings’ first 10 games, due mainly to his rookie status. He managed one assist and one penalty while in the big league to start this season. The farming out of Sharples leaves Detroit with seven defencemen. One more will likely go soon so the team can settle in with a normal roster of six blueliners, A Red Wing spokesman said it’s not likely Sharples would be called up again this season, unless they run in- to severe injury problems.
