I would like to make the following motion to the members of Wilson Centre, seconded by Dot Harding; AS We are aj.l aware there is a great shortage of subsidized dwellings for seniors, in Port Coquitlam, and as a result of this need, the Elks Club of Port Coquitlam have proposed to build a 4O., unit subsidized apartment block, located at Wilson and Mary Hill Road. A large number of seniors have indicated a desire to reside in such a complex and as a result of this support the Elks have received a guarantee of assistance fron the Provineial Government. Therefore I move that the Secretary be directed to write to City Council to impress upon them the importance of such a project and that there is no better lecation, in the City, for this subsidized dwelling and the Council should give this project heir wholehearted support. ., ’ ; ( 4 Se ; Moved by Ed Bennett.
