SUBJECT: 1985 Assessment Appeal Board Decisions. . ,

RECOMMENDATION :

That City Council authorize adjustments to the 1985 tax levies for the

Properties reported hereunder.

BACKGROUND:

A number of appeals from the decision of the 1985 Court of Revision of
Assessments were made to the Assessment appeal Board. The Board has
now conducted hearings and the B.C. Assessment Authority has forwarded
the decisions of the Assessment Appeal Board and the assessment
revisions required, with regard to the following properties. Subse~
quent adjustments to the 1985 tax levies result in a net decrease of
$12,337.19 - of which $7,903.74 is non-residential school tax; refunds

will be forwarded to the property owners.
