RECOMMENDATION: That Council give consideration to establishing the following policy: "That the following-be established by the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam as the policy controlling the placement or erection of advertising signs or posters by candidates at Federal or Provincial elections on property owned or under the control of The Corporation of. the City cf Port Coquitiam: : a 1. Except as in this Policy hereinafter’ provided, no advertising signs or posters of any type whatsoever shall be erected or piaced on any property owned or under the control of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam and, without timiting the generality thereof, no advertising sign or poster shall be placed or erected on any street or lane, bridge or overpass structure, on any. City building, or In any park. . 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 1 of this Policy each candidate at an election may erect or place one sign only not exceeding 4.88 m2 (16 sq.ft.)
