Swimming with the dolphins Local girl’s dream By SARAH A, ZIMMERMAN FOURTEEN year old Natasha Ob- zera has cerebral palsy and all her life she’s had a special wish — to swim with the dolphins in Hawaii. “She’s just always talked about it since she was little,” says her- mom Jean Obzera. Thanks to a-unique organiza- tion called the Sunshine Dreams for. Kids foundation that wish came true this summer. The highlight of the trip came when Natasha finally got to jump in the water with two big friendly, slippery dotphins. “It was cool because they felt warm and smooth,” said Natasha last week. “They jumped and danced and [ kissed one.’ Natasha spent half an hour in a special dolphin area at a Ha- waiian resort, .“It was awesome she was just THOSE LOOKING for an Owahu named Ben Suiso. When he discovered why the Obzeras were going to Hawaii he jumped into action to help make their va- cation even more exciting. -“This guy was just incredible he gave us a VIP tour, he took the kids snorkelling, took them boogie boarding,” said Jean Obzera. Suiso also hooked the family up with a local tour operator who gave them a personally guided tour of various hot tourists spots that usually aren’t open to the public until much later in the summer, “He made a good vacation a great vacation,” Obzera said.
