Subject: Fieldhouse/Service Building - (Phase 1-C)
(Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting September 9, 1993)

RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that tender for phase 1-C, construction of a fieldhouse/service
building be awarded to Westport Construction Ltd. in the amount of $353,750.00.

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:

Attached is a letter of recommendation received from our project manager, Tom
Annandale of Toby Russell Buckwell & parmers. He has reviewed the various tender
submissions, (summary attached).

Westport Construction Ltd., the low bidder on this tender, is able to meet all the terms of
the specifications.
