A regular meeting of the Municipal Counci! of The Corporation of the
City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Counci| Chamber, Port Coquitlam
City Hall on Monday, December 15, 1986 at 7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth,. M.D.
Gates, J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, WW. Stewart and M.R. Wright in

attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Engineer
F.E. Peters P.Eng; Director of Community Planning W.A. Brown, Parks and
Recreation Director K.J. Taytor, Fire Chief J.N. Boileau and Secretary S.

Rauh.

That the minutes of the Reguiar Councii Meeting held on December ist,
1986, and the Inaugural Meeting held on December 8th, 1986 be taken as

read and adopted.

“Gary Dick of Cornerstone Architects who~thernpresented the working

drawings for the Wilson Centre Expansion.

His Worship Mayor Traboulay Introduced Mr. O'Connor of B.C. Transit
who then made a presentation to Counci! regarding the temporary storage
of PCB's In Port Coquittam.

Seconded by Alderman Gates:

THAT the Municipat Councl! advise B.C. Transit not to store PCB
contaminated material in Port Coquitlam;

AND THAT the City Solicitor be directed to out!tine the municipality's
legal options, Including seeking an injunction, regarding the proposed
transportation and storage of PCB's In Port Coquitlam.
