Purchase of Propert, from B.C. Hydro

RECOMMENDATION:

That Council give consideration to Passage of the following
resolution: ;

"THAT the Droperty noted hereunder be purchased from the
registered owner thereof at or for the price or sum set

opposite the legal description of the Property contained
hereunder: , :

(a) 2.66 acre portion (Sketch 2763) of District Lot 379,°
New Westminster District ; $122,500.00;

(b) Lots 33 and 34, District Lot 379, Group One, Plan
_ 2161, New Westminster District $ 40,000.00;.

{c) 0.40 acres (Sketch 1418) $ 1.00;

“AND THAT a right~of-way over the aforesaid Property in

the standard form used by B.C. Hydro & Power Authority
covering an area sufficient to encompass B.C. Hydro's
existing facilities on the properties aforesaid be granted;

: SUBJECT -to the granting by B.c. Hydro of an access across

the right-of-way aforesaid at Bedford Street and at one
other location to be determined by the city Engineer to
provide access to land presently owned by the City and located
east of the aforesaid 2.66 acre portion;

AND THAT His Worship the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized
to execute the necessary documents for the purpose aforesaid

and to affix the corporate seal thereto."
