BYLAW NO. 2446

A Bylaw to Establish the Interest Rate
for Latecomer Charges

The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in
open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1.

There shall be included in the charge payable by owners of property under

Section 990(5)(c) of the Municipal Act interest calculated annually at a
rate of 7%.

Interest is payable under this Bylaw for the period commencing when the
excess or extended services were completed, up to the date that the
connection is made or the use commences.

This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as "Latecomer Charge Interest
Rate Bylaw, 1989, No. 2446".
