Traboulay and Aldermen M.D. Gates, M.J. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, R.H. Talbot, M.A. Thompson and M.R. Wright were in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, Acting City Clerk S. Rauh, City Treasurer J. Maitland, City Engineer I. Zahynacz, Director of Planning C.R. Felip, and Director of Building Permits and Inspections J. Shardlow. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Alderman Thompson: Seconded by Alderman Gordon: That the minutes of the Regular Council meeting held on January 27th, 1992 be taken as read and adopted. Carried. PROCLAMATION: WHEREAS The goal of International Development Week is to increase public understanding of the interdependent nature of our world and the global links between people in British Columbian communities and people in communities throughout the developing world; WHEREAS The citizens of Pert Coquitlam show a continuing interest in international development by supporting the development programs overseas and the development education programs of voluntary organizations such as churches, temples and synagogues, youth groups, service clubs, and local committees of British Columbia's international voluntary organizations and provincial branches of such organizations; WHEREAS International voluntary organizations have come together, in order to make the public aware of their shared goals of people-centred, sustainable global development, based on principles of sccial justice, human dignity and participation for all; AND WHEREAS The citizens of Port Coquitlam share these goals and principles,
