In the last couple of days, wa have received several calls
from eagidents in the Mery Hill Community advising us of a
plan that is being eitreulatad which indicates a road
connection between the proposed Western Mortgage Development
Corporation praject and the Citadel Heights Community. We
have not seen this plan, nor has the adjacent developer
diseugged such ea proposal with use

We wish to advise that we are strongly opposed to such a
connection. As you are aware, the Citadek eights Comnunity
Control Plan evolved over a period of many years of atudy by
both the City and Genstar. It is oug view that there are both
physical and logical community planning prineiples that would
be compromised if sueh a connection were introdueed. In
addition, the control plan which was adopted by Genatar and
Ceuncil has bean widely ciroulated. Ona would therefore
expect that the residants of Cltadel Heights would also object
to such a significant echangs in the contre] plan for theie

eomuunity.

Of even greater coneern to us ia the impact a connection would
have on the livability within the future "neighbourhood
enclaves", The neighbourhood enclave concept was one of the
major elements we strived to nehieve in the overall plan for

the conmunity.
