Farnworth, M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, W.W. Stewart and M.R. Wright in attendance. in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P, Eng., Assistant City Engineer T. Chong, P.Eng., Director of Community Planning W.A, Brown, Parks & Recreation Director K.J. Taylor and Recording Secretary D.L. Vyse, ; ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor LL.M. Traboulay advisea the following proposed Bylaws to amend the "City of Port Coquitiam Zoning Bylaw, 1979, No. 1651" would now be considered: BL/01/86/02/17/01 Bylaw No. 2161: To rezone Lot 47, District Lot 465, Group One, Plan 26362, New Westminster District from RS-1 (Single Family Residential) to P-2 (Special Institutional). This Property is located at 2191 Prairie Avenue (Northeast corner of Pratrle Avenue and Shaughnessy Street) and the rezoning will permit the construction of a Church on the property. Letters were received from: Mr. M, Felgnar, Block Bros., 2786 Barnet Hwy., Port Coquitlam, B.C, representing the Victory Baptist Church, Mr. & Mrs. Frank Pesdirz, 2244 Prairie Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C, advised they are opposed to the proposed church and referred to their concern regarding traffic. The following People were present at the Zoning Public Hearing and expressed their views on the proposed rezoning: Pastor Frel berg advised they ‘ their services so the traffic would hes in the area. Mr. J. Brown, 2181 Prairie Avenue, advised he was In favour of the proposed rezoning.
