That as requested by the Casa Roma Restaurant, 2823 Shaugimessy Street, February 6th, 1980 permission be given to have a flashing sign to replace the existing one which must be removed due to the addition of a right turn lane off the Lougheed Highway. Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution Alderman Wright spoke regarding amending the Sign Regulation By-law No. 1661 to include flashing signs and stated in his opinion the request should be referred to the Building & Protection Committee for study. Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That the request from the Casa Roma Restaurant, 2823 Shaughnessy Street for a flashing sign be referred to the Building and Protection Committee for study. Carried. Aldermen Mabbett and Traboulay voted against the -esolution. From Tymo Holdings Ltd., February 11th, 1980 requesting that teenagers Tymo Holdings ef the ages thirteen to eighteen be allowed to attend the PoCo Cabana Ltd., Feb. 11/80 re Discotheque from Wednesday to Sunday inclusive. Age Limit Restrictions. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Gates: That no change be made to the Discotheque Regulation By-law No. 1626 with respect to the days and times of admission of teenagers thirteen to eighteen years of age. Carried, Alderman Traboulay voted against the resolution. Mr. F. Harder, President of Tymo Holdings Ltd. was present to answer Council's questions on the request. Prior to the passage of the resolution Aldermen Ranger expressed concern regurding the mixing of age groups.
