Attached please find a proposed budget kon 1977; as you wil note this has not increased over the 1976 budget. The Committee would Like to recommend the follawing for Council's consideration: That May Day be he&d for the year 1977 and that the date be May 28, 1977. That Ma, Lee Kallen be hined as the co-ordinator for the 1977 May Day. That the proposed budget be put anto the 1977 provisional budaet. That the parade route be retained on the South Side. kon the following reasons: la) The uncertainty of construction on the Lougheed Highway. (6) That more Senior Citizens ane able to view the panade i.e. Hawthorne Lodae. That the carnival rides will be held in the same place and that the west side of the Recreation Centre be Left sree.
