Re: Sale of N's of McKenzie Avenue

a The City was approached sometime ago by the owner of the property to the
north of McKenzie Avenue off Pitt River Road to purchase the N¥ of McKenzie
Avenue. (see attached sketch). -

Council will recall that the. S's of McKenzie Avenue was earlier sold to the
“ adjacent property owner. ‘The transaction was completed in April 1974.

"o The City. is now the owner of the N's of the road allowance as title has been
granted by the Crown by Order of Council, which was registered in the New
Westminster Land Registry Office in January 1975.

a _ The Ns of McKenzie Avenue is 33' x 155' or 5122 square feet in size, and
_ the current appraised value is $2500.

In the February 27, 1975 meeting of the Land Sale Committee, the Committee
recommended that the subject land be sold to the owner of the adjoining property

for $2500.
