A, Blk. 5, D.L. 379 (Ex. Pl. 14408), Plan 11370 ~ Plan 42683 Area: 1.46 Acre - see attached strip map. Zoning: RS~2 Request: To rezone a portion from RS—2 to G=3. Reason: To be used as Parking Lot. Committee Comments: . At present the owner of the hotel at 2635 Shaughnessy Street hag an agreement "in trust" which holds title for the areca that now is used as the hotel parking lot. The zoning will allow the hotel owner the use of that part Zoned to C-3 for parking as well as make ownersuip possible. The lot will be consolidated with the properties on Shaughnessy via "tie" incorporated in a new subdivision plan, The remainder of the lot will retain RS-2 Zoning and will conform to the one acre requirement. The parcel created and Zoned C-3 can only be used as parking as it will be tied directly by subdivision plan and would require a further subdivision for any other use or building permit. Recommendation: The Committee recommends approval of the rezoning upon assurance that the property will be consolidated as one lot with the property which the existing hotel is located on,
