THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM MEMORANDUM MAR 28 1988 TO 5 Kirk, March 18, 1988 Administrator FROM: Chong, Pe Eng,, Engineer SUBJECT: Construction of 2300 Block Lobb Avenue (Public Works Committee Meeting of March 8, 1988) Recommendation: That the reconstruction of the 2300 block of Lobb Avenue complete with drainage works and curbs at an estimated cost of $62,000 be approved as a 1988 Public Works Capital Project. Background and Comments: Council will recall the concerns recently expressed during a public hearing by property owners in the 2300 block of Lobb Avenues These concerns focused on the poor condition of this section of Lobb Avenue which has been further aggravated by the movement of heavy construction traffic along this road. The Public Works Committee subsequently directed the City Engineer to prepare a conceptual design and a preliminary estimate for the reconstruction of this road. The conceptual design and preliminary estimate presented to the Public Works Committee on March 8, 1988 were as follows: 1.
