Alderman Traboulay introduced a By-law to provide for the payment
of an indemnity to the Mayor and Aldermen of The Corporation of the City
of Port Coquitlam for the year 1978.

Mayor Campbell voted against the resolution.

Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, a brief discussion
ensued with regard to the amount of the indemnity for the Mayor and the
general concensus was that the amount proposed was considerably less
than the position deserved as it now required the incumbent to consider
it a full time position.
