A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C. on November 28th, 1977, at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, M.A. Thompson, and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer V.G. Borch, P. Eng., Assistant City Engineer L. Melnechenko, P. Eng., Planning Officer L. Lee, Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, City Treasurer J.G.S. Maitland, Works & Utilities Superintendent G.W. Ulmer, and Mrs. D.L. Vyse. SPECIAL PRESENTATION: Special Alderman Ranger introduced the members and coach of the Port Coquitlam Presentation: National : Championships -: Civic Recognition, Junior Girls 5-Pin Bowling Team and presented each of them with a City of Port Coquitlam Pin in recognition of the team's achievement in gaining third place in the 1977 National Bowling Championships. CORRESPONDENCE: Kinsmen Club Nov. 17/77 re known as the 1978 Mothers' March. From the Kinsmen Club of Port Coquitlam, November 17th, 1977 asking Council. for permission to conduct a door-to-door Campaign Kinsmen Mothers' March, during the week of January 29th, to February 4th, 1978.
