Enfin, été est arrivé | Le temps est venu de s’amuser, d’envahir la rue et de danser sous les étoiles.
Pendant les dix prochains jours, la ville vibrera sous les rythmes et les mélodies enivrantes de la chanson
francophone. C’est l'occasion idéale d’inviter nos concitoyens a venir partager la richesse et la diversité
de la francophonie a Vancouver.

Grace au dévouement extraordinaire de prés de 200 bénévoleg et la participation d’une cinquantaine
d’artistes et artisans, la 18¢ édition du Festival vous propose une dizaine de spectacles qui nous en
mettra plein la vue et surtout, plein les oreilles.

La Féte des enfants, celle de la famille et celle de la Saint-Jean-Baptiste permettent la participation de
tous les publics a ce grand rassemblement estival, pour satisfaire toutes les envies.

Je profite de cette opportunité pour reconnaitre le travail remarquable du personnel du Centre culturel
francophone ainsi que les contributions de tous nos partenaires et collaborateurs lors des préparatifs
et de la mise en ceuvre de cet événement majeur. Grace a vous tous, le Festival d’été continue de
contribuer a l’identité et a la vitalité culturelle de Vancouver.

At last summer has arrived! The time has come to have some fun, to take to the streets and dance
under the stars. For the next ten days, the city will vibrate to the rhythms and the intoxicating melodies
of French vocal music. This is the perfect time to invite our fellow citizens to come and share the wealth
and variety of Francophone culture in Vancouver.
Thanks to the extraordinary dedication of nearly 200 volunteers and the participation of some fifty artists
and craftspeople, the 18th season of the Festival will bring you ten shows that will delight your eyes
and ears.
The Children’s Festival, the Family Festival and the Saint-Jean Baptiste Day celebrations will bring all
kinds of people together in a huge summer celebration, with something for everyone.
| would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the amazing work done by the staff at Le Centre
culture! francophone as well as the contributions made by all our partners and all those who helped in
the preparations and the realisation of this major event. Thanks to alll of you, the Vancouver Festival d'été
will continue to enhance the identity and the cultural vitality of Vancouver.
