The maintenance agreements shall provide for the City to maintain the fields to the City’s normal standard of field maintenance with the City and the Board to share equally in the maintenance costs. Field Design 16. The City’s approvai shall be required for the design of the fields referred to in Section 3 and 7 prior to construction of those fields, provided that the City’s approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. 1974 Agreement 17, The 1974 Agreement is amended as follows: a) The Board’s share of the cost of maintenance, adrr «istration and operation of the Hyde Creek Faciliry shall be $50,000.00 beg. 1g in the 1994 calendar year. In subsequent years from 1995 through 20U. :he Board’s contribution shall be adjusted annually by the rate of change in the Statistics Canada Consumer Price Index for Vancouver (ali items) for the preceding calendar year. Annual contributions shall be paid by the Board on or before June 30 in each calendar year. The Board shall transfer the School District’s title to its portion of the Hyde Creek Facility to the City for $1.00 on December 31, 2005. The City shall provide a pool program for the Board with 2,100 hours or annually of instructor time students. Instructional costs shall be paid by the City but the Board shall pay the costs of providing life jackets and canoes as required by the Board, and the fees charged by third parties for student exams. Instructor time shall include all the time that an instructor spends in planning, preparing, evaluating or instructing the Board’s swim program. The City and the Board shall consult annually on the content of the swimming school program and shall use their best efforts to reach agreement on the program for the following School year by June 15 of each year. Failing agreement, the City shall determine the content of the annual program. The Board Agrees that the City may expand the Hyde Creek Centre, at the City’s sole discretion. ' The Board agrees that all revenues generated at the Hyde Creek Facility, beginning on January 1, 1994, shall be entirely the City’s.
