That Bylaw No. 2638 be read a first time.

That Bylaw No. 2638 be referred to the Planning and Development Committee
to seek further input from City merchants.

Carried.

REPORTS :

From the City Treasurer, January 15th, 1992 regarding Equipment
Replacement.

That City Council authorize the replacement of equipment and funding of
same ag outlined in the schedule attached to Council agenda,

Carried.

against the reseclution.

From the Chief Fire Prevention Officer, January 15tn, 1992 regarding an
amendment to Bylaw 2576.

Seconded by Alderman Talbot:

That Section 4.2.1 of Bylaw 2578 be changed to read “shall not apply
during the period between October 25 and October 31, inclusive, in each year."
