The remaining parts of ee ee the by~law consist of Construction Specifications whteh have now bean we oe reviewed by the Works and Services Committee. Thase Construction Mie Specifications regulate the matertals and ways that the contractor Is a allowed to Install the works. For example, they do not allow the uso of asbestos cement plpe for watermaln construction. The by-law has been raviewed by our solicitor and some minor wording changes have baen Incorporated since the draft which Counel | originally reviewed, These do not have the effect of changing the . Intent of any of the sections, Wa recognize that If BIIl1 62 becomes law there will be some changes required to tha body of tho Subdivision By=!aw. However, we do not wish ta hold up the by-law panding passage ‘ of Bill 62 or any other naw Land Use Act bacause of the need to (approve the Dasign Criteria and Construction Specifications.
