A Bylaw to regulate Highways jn
Corporation of the City of Port Coquit!am.

The Municipal Counci} of The Corporation of the City of
Port Coquitiam in open meeting assembled, enacts ag
follows:

DEFINITIONS ©

In this By-law, unless the context Otherwise requires:

"boulevard" means ween the curb lines, the
lateral lines or . 8 roadway and the

"Construction includes the origina! construction of a new
highway and-.also the work of re-constructing or cutting a
highway or any section repaired by general and continuous
‘re-grading or re-mantelling of its surfaces, or by
building, re-building or enlarging bridges, or by
: executing other highway work or: improvement or protection
Classified by .the engineer ‘as substantias;- :

"crosswalk": means:

(a) A portion of tne roadway at an intersection or
elsewhere distinctly indicated for pedestrian
crossing by signs or by lines or other markings on
‘the Surface; or
