Re: Proposed Bylaw No. 1853 to rezone Lot 499 Southwest Quarter SER Ld, 198
7, Township 40, Plan 60908, N.W.D. from RS-1 to RT-1. This property being

located at 4020 Mars Street and tt is expected that 4f the Tequésted rezoning

is approved that a duplex dwelling will be constructed on this site,

As property owners in the immediate avea we wish to strongly object to this
Proposed rezoning. We feel that construction: of a duplex in this newly
developed area of expensive home development would be detrimental, not only

to the monetary value of our individual properties, but to the area, in general,

Far too many duplexes, as we are sure you well know, end up as unkept and
untidy eyesores to their immediate area,

We do not want one in our area and sincerely hope that you keep this in mind

when considering the requested rezoning. he

We are proud of the many lovely new homes in our area, that generate many tax
dollars to our city coffers and wish to maintain the high standard of building,
Single family homes only, that now exists in our area,
