The proposal from the Elks Lodge met no opposition at a public hearing Jast week and the rezoning bylaw was given third reading. Also granted was a change of the Official Com- munity Plan from community and public use to multi-- family (apartment), The Elks’ pian is to build a four-storey apartment building on land immediately south of their Tetrault St. lodge, They expect its close proximity to the hospital and nearby stores will make it a favoured location for senior citizens. The building is to have a ground-level parkade and three levels of residences above it, serviced by an elevator.
