: WE'VE been secing some newcomers
> out to the drop-in classes for dogs and
: owners. These classes nin every week,
and anyone who has a problem with
+ their dog, or just wants an opportunity
- for their to socialize with other dogs,
: ds welcome to come out,

: ‘The classes run at 7 pm on Thurs-
. days at Thombill Hall, The cost is
: only $2 a night and your dog must be
current on its shots and leashed.

. I'd like to mention a great service
that is available here in Terrace, The
Terrace Animal Shelter will let you
wash your dog for only $10. They
provide the shampoo, creme rinse and
towels,

I have personally used it several
times and it’s great and the staff is
: very helpful and friendly. Since this is
: such a reasonably priced service

maybe you'll have enough change left
to donate to the ‘‘Injured Animal
Fund” box on the counter while
you're there.

I’ve included a recipe for those
people who like to make their own
Doggie biscuits. Recipe can be
doubled and then frozen for later:

2 cups whole wheat flour

2-3 cups of dog kibble

1/4 cup cornmeal

1/2 cup soy flour (or sub-white flour)
1 tsp bone meal

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1/4 cup unsulfured molasses

2 eges mixed with 1/4 cup of milk.

Mix dry ingredients together, add
oil, molasses and all but 1 thsp of
ege/milk, Mix and knead until well
blended. Add more milk if needed to
make firm dough.
