Née a Montréal, Marthe s'est établie
a Vancouver en 1987 dans le but de
devenir membre du Ballet British
Columbia sous la direction de Reid
Anderson. Elle est par la suite entrée
au Judith Marcuse Dance company.
Depuis 1993, elle offre ses services
d'interpréte a plusieurs chorégraphes
et compagnies de danses modernes,
notamment a Jennifer Mascall, Lola
Maclaughlin, Chick Snipper, Suzan
McKenzie, Conrad Alexandrowitz,
Katherine Labelle, Joe Laughlin, Lee
Eisler, Paras Terezahis et Harvey
Meller. Au cours des ans, grace au
concours du Conseil des Arts du
Canada elle a créé des spectacles en
solo.

Born in Montréal, Marthe moved to
Vancouver in 1987 to join Ballet
British Columbia under the direction
of Reid Anderson. She then hung her
pointed shoes to dance with the
Anna Wyman Dance Company. Since
1993, she has been freelancing,
servicing the styles and ideas of
many modern dance choregraphers,
mainly Jennifer Mascall but also Lola
Maclaughlin, Chick Snipper, Suzan
McKenzie, Conrad Alexandrowitz,
Katherine Labelle, Joe Laughlin, Lee
Eisler, Paras Terezahis and Harvey
Meller. Marthe has received several
Canada Arts Council grants and
teaches both ballet and modern
dance.
