; ENGINEERING SERVICES oe PROPOSED SUBDIVISION OF CITY OWNED LAND - MARSHALL AND STAFFORD CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM INTRODUCTION: The City of Port Coquitlam will be proceeding with subdivision development of City owned land locaced in the vaciniry of Marshall and Stafford Streets. The Ciry intends to proceed with the project this year. The Ciry requires the services or a consulting engineer (0 undertake the legal survey, design, tender, contract administration. including supervision and inspection of this development. Artached is a sketch showing the location and proposed layout of the development. This assignment will incorporate the following: l. Review of all "as-built" drawings including sanitary, storm, water, road and other utilities. Review other information inciuding developments plans for the area. 2. Based on as-built information, field survey, geotechnical information. subdivision servicing and zoning bylaws, compiete the design of the subdivision development. The development is to be designed to full City Subdivision Standards. Complete tender documents using the Master Municipal Specifications: perform a pretender cost estimate for the development; tender the project on behaif of the City; analyze and recommend on the tender results; administer contract; carry out full site inspection and survey layout; produce as-built drawings on AutoCad Version 12. AutoCad work will become the exciusive property of the Ciry on completion of the work. Tender documents will be produced on Microsoft WORD 2.0 format and will become the exclusive property of the Ciry on completion of the project. Provide approximately 10 sets of contract documents and design drawings for tendering and use by the contractor and the City. Identify all subconsultants to be hired for this project including surveyors, testing me seorechnical firms. The scope of work and cost for each firm is to be identified. The City may consider using its own forces to install the required services. In this event the consultant will provide the construction supervision inspection and | testing.
