August 23. 1993/260 A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Act was held prior to the Council Meeting ot the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, BC on Monday, August 23rd, 1993, at 7:30 p.m. Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Councillors, M.D. Gates, M.J. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, R.H. Talbot, M.A. Thompson, and M.R. Wright were in attendance. Also in attendance were Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk S. Rauh, City Engineer LR. Zahynacz, Project Engineer Francis Cheung, Planner C.R. Felip, Director of Building Permits ard Inspections J.D. Shardlow, and Fire Chief J.L. Baillie. PUBLIC HEARING: Mayor Traboulay advised the following proposed Bylaws would now be considered: Bylaw No. 2820 To rezone: That 1.3 ha (3.2 acre) portion of Lot 8 Except: Firstly, Part subdivided by Plan 32417; secondly, Part subdivided by Plan LMP6010 Section 6 Township 40 Plan 4318 New Westminster District from RS-3 (Estate Residential) to RM-3 (Townhouse Apartment). The property is located in the Riverwood Development - Skeena Avenue and would permit the development of 39 unit townhouse development No one was present to speak reg2:ding the proposed zoning amendment. Bylaw No, 2822 To rezone: Lot 1 Section 12 Township 39 Plan 18451 New Westminster District from RS-1 (Large Lot Residential) to RS-2 (Small Lot Residential) The property is located at 3708 Oxford Street and would permit the development of two single family dwellings. Correspondence was received from D.J. and P.M. McLeod stating they are not in favour of the rezoning. No one was present to speak regarding the proposed amendment.
