RECOMMENDATION;

WHEREAS the lands hereinatter described are not required for
municipal. purposes nor are they reserved or dedicated; ~~

o NOW. THEREFORE be it resolved that: 90002. 0, 0 8) roe

le Lot 42 of Lot "A"; Block "E: of Block 1; District Lot 479,
Group One, Pian 12212, New Westminster District, being 1828
Dorset Avenue, Port Coquitiam, B.C. be sold by tender if a
bid acceptable to Counci! is received;

The City Clerk is hereby instructed and authorized to
publish and post the "Real Property for Sale by Tender"
Notice appearing in the Agenda documents of this Counci |

meeting;
The terms and conditions contained therein are. hereby
approved;

The City Clerk carry out the procedures set out therein.

Council reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject
all of the bids if Council in its absolute discretion

determines that rejection is appropriate.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS: |

The details and ‘location of this property is.shown-on the
material following. An appraisal completed on July 11th, 1986
estabiished a price. for the property of $44,00.00 and it was
earlier advertised with this upset price. When the time for the
closing of tenders arrived on September 25, 1986 no bids had
been received. (t is, however, our understanding that we wil!

receive at least one bid if the property is advertised with an
upset price of $40,000.00 and adoption of the above noted
resolution by the Council will enable the necessary advertising
to take place. Naturatly, a price higher than $40,000.00 may be
