RECOMMENDATION:

That the following category, Type of Use No. 4, be included in
our list of categories, effective January lst, 1983 for room
rentals (see attached category classification list - page 2):

BACKGROUND _& COMMENTS :

From time to time groups make application for a special rate
for room rental when all proceeds are being donated to a
recognized charity. This category was omitted unintentionally
from the original report to Council on November 18th, 1982.
Our policy, in the past, has been to allow them the subsidized
rate for this event. Also attached for your information, is
the present policy relating to subsidized rental charge.
