Dear Sir:

At a recent meeting of the Port Coquitlam K40 Clyb, a motion

was passed to look into the feasability of developing a rest

area on the west end and between the two bridges spanning the
Pitt River on the Lougheed Highway. :

Due to the great need of this type of tourist facility in the
Lower Mainland and in gn effort to service a need, we would

like to hear your response and we would appreciate any assistance
that you may give.

We understand the property belongs to the Department of Highways
and if this meets with no opposition from the City of Port
Coquitlam, we shall pursue this matter further.
