Mr. VanDyke met with the Committee and the Architects on July llth, 1973, at which time Mr. VanDyke presented a sketch drawing as to what the OeAePoO. Committee would like to see in the Complexe Agreement was made on all items except one, the aspect of a stage. The O.AeP.0O. Committee felt that a stage should be constructed in the conm-~ plex with storage underneath. The purpose of the stage would be for the choir and for bingo. The Parks and Recreation Committee and the Architects feel that by conĀ» structing a stage much Space would be lost. The Parks and Recreation Committee also felt that a portable stage would serve the same function when these programs were on, More activitics could be carried on in the complex, such as Carpet bowling tournaments, bridge tournaments, etce, if there was not a permanent stage. However,the O,A.P.0. and the Parks and Recreation Committee were not able to resolve the point. Due to Space and money limitations the Committee also felt that it was impractical to build a permanent stage. Recommendation: The Parks and Recreation Committee recommend that the stage facilities be temporary and of & flexible nature so as to get maximum use of the Space o
