-RESOSANTE Consolidation of Ties To Communities and Health Care Professionals RésoSanté continues to promote contact between health professionals who speak French and the Francophone population. As such, it facilitated thematic workshops in Maillardville, Prince George, Surrey and Victoria and increased its efforts to reach new advertisers in the Répertoire des professionnels de la santé [Health Professionals’ Directory]. This tool saw extraordinary growth this year, with the number of people listed increasing to more than 350 professionals. The directory is available in hard copy, electronic format or as a search tool (by profession and by region) on the RésoSanté website. Through its partnerships and collaborative work at the national, provincial and regional levels, RésoSanté is active in the development of the French language health care movement in Canada. This year, RésoSanté attended the Rendez-vous santé en francais [French Language Health Rendez-vous] in Charlottetown in June 2010. This meet- ing, attended by 17 Francophone networks in Canada, is a forum for sharing knowledge and for reporting on French language health care in the country.
