RECOMMENDATION:

1. That this application be approved to preceed for rezoning from RS-1 (Large
Lot Residential) to RM-5 (Downtown Apartment Residential) under section
963 of the Municipal Act subject to:

Completion of a design to the satisfaction of the Director of
Planning;

Satisfaction of Engineering Department requirements};

Submission of landscaping plans to the- satisfaction of the Parks and
Recreation Department;

Satisfaction of Building Department concerns;
Consolidation of the properties into one lot;

Issuance of a Development Permit;

That the Planning Department be authorized to draft Development Permit
#72/93; and

That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the documents when
completed subject to the conditions noted above.
