(ce) Landscaping:

Substantial landscaping to screen parking areas from the streets and
adjacent residential buildings and itaterplanting of the parking area
with trees is required. Retention of mature treea to integrate into
the overall landscaping is encouraged.

All vegetation used for landscaping shall be mature and of a quality
acceptable to the Municipality. All planting muat comply with the
standards of or standards similar of those of the B.C.N.T.A,

All materials other than vegetation, used for landscaping shall be
'non~skid' type and of durable quality.

All landscaping fronting the street shall. use trees whenever possible.

Signage:

All signs and signage should be architecturally coordinated with the
overall design of buildings and landecaping. Free standing signs
shall be incorporated into the design of the landscaped area and
shall not exceed 2.4 meters (8 feet) in height.

leplementation:

To facilitate implementation of these guidelines, any Development
Permit, fasued for properties within this Development Permit Area
"XV", may, subject to the restrictions of the Municipal Act, and
unleas otherwise specified in the above guidelines, vary or
supplement the Bylawa regulating zoning, parking, works and services,
drainage, signa, screening, landscaping and subdiviston.

Minor variations which do not change the intent of the guidelines may
be permitted without an amendment of the Development Permit Area
guidelines, subject to the approval of the Director of Community

2. This Bylaw may be cited for all purposea as the "Official Community Plan
Amendment Bylaw No. 34, 1992, No. 2678".

the majority of all members of the Council this llth day of May, 1992.

Determined that the amendment to the plan does not effect the Districe of
Coquitlam, the Corporation of the District of Pitt Meadows, or the Greater
Vancouver Regional District this llth day of May, 1992.
