City Engineer SUBJECT: Request to Upgrade the Cedar Pedestrian Bridge (Public Works Committee Meeting of August 6, 1991) That the City of Port Coquitlam approve the reconstruction of the pedestrian bridge over the Cedar drainage ditch located west of Cedar Elementary School at an estimated cost of $12,429. That $12,429 be allocated from the 1991 Public Works Capital Fund for this purpose. The Public Works Committee considered the attached memorandum from the Operations Manager regarding the reconstruction of the pedestrian bridge crossing the Cedar drainage ditch west of Cedar Elementary School. The pedestrian bridge would be upgraded to meet the BC Building Code standards for wheel chair access. There is a difference in elevation of approximately six feet between the existing bridge and the ground level to the west of the bridge.
