Subsidies on the recreation facilities operations in 1979 were as
follows:

Please note:

1. The two figures for the indoor pool, one being the overall
sutsidy and one being the net subsidy by the City after
recovery from the school board.

These costs are based on the hours of use in 1979 and the
1979 maintenance costs and so not include such itens as

debt repaysent, recreation Programing or administration
costs. .

Ice cost $30.64 per hour in 1979, This ts down from $32.46
estizated early in 1979 due to cutbacks in maintenance staff
and increased usage. If debe repayment costs vere iacluded
the cost would increase to $38.15 per hour.
