Application to rezone portion of a parcel at the N/W. corner
of Coast Meridian and Salisbury from RS-1 to C-2 to allow
the development of a shopping plaza.

The subject property 4s approximately 25, 000 sq. ft.
size and is directly to the north of the North Side shopping’ :
Centre. It is the easterly half of the parcel of which the ©
westerly half is being considered for the use as a Postal
Depot. :

The subject site is part of the area designated for commercial
use based on the 1971 North Side Phased Development Plan adopted
by Council. ©

Preliminary Development Plans submitted show that approximately
10,800 sq. ft. of retail floor space will be produced.

This application was considered by the Committee on January
30, 1975 and the Committee recommends approval of the rezoning

‘gubject to revision of the development plans to the satisfaction -

of the Committee.
