. INTER OFFICE MEMO C J TO: Mayor and Aldermen DATE: June 4th, 1973 JUN - 41973 FROM: Alderman E.W. Mabbett Last week after adjournment of the regular Council meeting Alderman Ranger saw fit to attack several members of Council; at a time when they could not rebut him. One of the points Alderman Ranger made when he was campaigning some three years ago was that the Council of that day did too much Council business in Committee. : Does Alderman Ranger want Council members not to change their minds, even if ) ° they feel justification for it at a later date? Alderman Ranger was not used by any Council member in regard to indemnity; 1 have always been concerned, and if he will recall, I voted against the large increase : in 1972, It 1s my intention to continue to use my democratic right and vote as I see fit z ; at the time, whether it is for indemnities, rezoning, by-laws, land sales, or whatever, Alderman E.W.
